Creating a Simple Maintenance Task
For straightforward tasks like changing air filters or testing smoke detectors, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Maintenance Section: From your AbodioHub dashboard, click on the "Quick Add" button or navigate to a particular Asset or Space
- Add a New Task: Click the "+ Add maintenance" button.
- Enter Task Details:
- Title: Give your task a clear name (e.g., "Replace HVAC Filter").
- Description: Add any relevant notes or instructions.
- Due Date: Select when the task should be completed.
- Assign to a Space or Asset: Link the task to a specific room or item in your home for better organization.
- Save the Task: Click "Save" to add the task to your schedule.
- Set Reminders: In your Settings : _> Notifications: You can choose to receive notifications via email or in-app alerts.
You can now view your maintenance tasks in your calendar on the My Home page.
| Tip: Regularly reviewing and updating your tasks ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
